From Principal's Desk

It is dilemma of an adolescent. Bringing up a child is not an easy job. Raising a child is very much like a skyscraper. If the first few storeys are out of line, none will notice. But when the building is 16 storyes high everyone sees that it tilts. We have to ensure that we keep the building straight. Dear reader each one of us is a  stakeholder in the development process of out young students. The shaping and moulding of young minds in becoming responsible citizens is our pleasant duty.

We have to help our students in dealing with the peer pressure effectively. The awareness of the physical developments should be taken by the growing child naturally. we must also try to minimize the effect of media, as we cannont wish away internet, T.V or mobile phones. The parents and teachers muct establish effective communication with the young ones. Responsible parenting and effective teaching is essential for the growth and development of children, parenting styles may be different in our families but value system are taught by the parents along the teachers. These days teaching life skills have become important and the family has to step in helping the adolescents.

These are the problems of disturbed family environments, broken homes, single parents, both parents busy in the jobs, too much disposable money with children and too little quality time with parents, neglected. Childhood and identity crisis with our students. We have to understand the growung child with love and care.

Adolesence is a dynamic phase characterized by frequent changes from moment to moment. We must adopt a positive approach to brining up children, constantly updating our views, attitude and information. Dealing with young students we have to be alert, firm and caring out nature them with love and affection.

"Don't worry that children never listen to you, worry that they are always watching you".
